NAGA CITY — In a post through Bicol Medical Center’s official Facebook page, the hospital’s COVID-19 and isolation wards are now under full capacity.
In addition, both facilities are under-staffed to handle the ongoing admissions of COVID-19 patients, thus prompting the Bicol Medical Center to limit admissions of COVID-19 patients to severe or critical conditions from now on.
This announcement came as the Bicol Region registers over 4,000 active cases, with over 1,100 cases in Camarines Sur and over 800 cases in Naga City as of writing.
The hospital is appealing to Local Government Units in Camarines Sur in upgrading their respective quarantine facilities to handle the rising COVID-19 cases, especially with asymptomatic to mild symptoms.
