150+ LSIs arrived in Bicol from Manila via train

NAGA CITY — More than 150 Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) arrive in Bicol from Metro Manila via PNR trains.

Camarines Sur & Albay LSIs were dropped off at Libmanan and Iriga City stations in Camarines Sur, facilitated by EDMERO Camarines Sur, while Catanduanes & Masbate LSIs were dropped off at Ligao City station in Albay.

The train arrived around evening of June 20 in Bicol from Tutuban station in Manila.

They were escorted to their respective municipalities and provinces via land/sea transportation and will undergo medical screening by their respective local COVID-19 task forces.

This trip is the first batch of LSIs to arrive in the region via train through the government’s “Hatid Probinsya” program.
