NAGA CITY — After more than a month without new cases in the city, Mayor Nelson Legacion announced that there were 2 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Naga City on June 25, 2020.

Last June 16, the mother experienced symptoms and consulted a private doctor last June 22. Both of them underwent rapid testing last June 24 and tested positive.

They were swabbed on the morning of June 25 and tested positive for SARS-nCOV-2.

Both of them have been transferred to the Bicol Medical Center from a city-controlled quarantine facility for further treatment, and their family and close contacts are now being monitored and transferred to a city-controlled quarantine facility.
